All the adult's involved with the 4th London are volunteers who give up their own time to plan & deliver an exciting and engaging programme of activities for the children & young people who attend.

Stephen

Company Captain & Leader-in-Charge: Anchors

Stephen has been involved with the 4th London since April 2012 and has been Company Captain since September 2017. As a child, Stephen was a member of 31st London Boys' Brigade in Rotherhithe.

Stephen is a qualified youth worker, achieving a Level 3 in Youth Work Practice in 2023. He is also a governor at Archbishop Sumner Primary School.

Daimon

Deputy Captain & Treasurer

Daimon has been involved with the 4th London since April 2014. He is responsible for supporting young people in acheiving their major awards and Duke of Edinburgh Awards. Daimon covers when Stephen is unable to attend.

Daimon is a Boys' Brigade trainer and supports the development of other leaders. As a child, Daimon was a member of the Scouts.

Adam

Leader-in-Charge: Seniors

Adam has been involved with the 4th London since January 2018 and has been Leader-in-Charge of Seniors since Septemebr 2022. Adam was part of 1st Dronfield Boys' Brigade, in his home town of Sheffield, when he was a young person.

Andrew

Leader-in-Charge: Juniors

Andrew has been involved with the 4th London since February 2020 and has been Leader-in-Charge of Juniors since September 2021. Andrew was part of 7th Grimsby Boys' Brigade when he was growing up.

Tom

Leader-in-Charge: Company Section

Tom has been involved with the 4th London since August 2020 and  Leader-in-Charge of Company Section from September 2024. Tom attended 1st Tewkesbury Boys' Brigade as a young person

Tom also takes a lead role in supporting our young people who are working towards their Duke of Edinburgh Award.

Sparkie Bear

Company Mascot

Sparkie Bear joined the 4th London in September 2022 and has regularly appeared on our Social Media Chnnels.

Sparkie Bear has now been joined by Mr Plod, Elf on the Shelf & Kenny the Koala. Look out for them throughout the year and see what they get up to!

We also have other volunteers who are just as important as those listed above but who you may not see each week, or are new to the team. These are:

Please treat all our volunteers with respect and courtesy as they give up a huge amount of their time to ensure that our members have the best time ever when they are with us.

All our volunteers aged 18 years and over have completed an enhanced DBS, along with Safeguarding & Managing Risk training.
